DOE US Navy Transmutations
The patent talks about transmutation and deals with how generated particles may be captured by other nuclei to create new elements, to remediate nuclear waste, to treat cancerous tumors, or to create strategic materials. Previous efforts to create a reproducible method and corresponding system to generate particles during electrolysis of palladium in heavy water have been unsuccessful. Therefore, a need currently exists for a reproducible method and corresponding system that can generate particles.
NASA Surface Plasmon Polaritons
Involves the use of Surface Plasmon Polaritons which are simply electromagnetic waves (such as light & infrared), traveling through a metal-hydride (such as Nickel or palladium) for the creation of heavy electrons.
A method for producing heavy electrons based on a material system that includes an electrically-conductive material. The material system has a resonant frequency associated therewith for a given operational environment. A structure is formed that includes a non-electrically-conductive material and the material system. The structure incorporates the electrically-conductive material at least at a surface thereof. The geometry of the structure supports propagation of surface plasmon polaritons at a selected frequency that is approximately equal to the resonant frequency of the material system. As a result, heavy electrons are produced at the electrically-conductive material as the surface plasmon polaritons propagate along the structure.
STMicroelectronics LENR Reactor
A nuclear reactor for energy generation through low energy nuclear reactions (LENR) between hydrogen and transition metals such as Nickel, and related method of energy generation. Their apparatus includes a reaction chamber and an energy regulator. The reaction chamber is configured to allow an energy-releasing reaction between hydrogen and a transition metal. The energy regulator is configured to control the rate at which energy exits the reaction chamber.
Andrea Rossi – Rejected Patent Application (LENR Apparatus)
A method and apparatus for carrying out a highly efficient exorthermal nuclear reaction between nickel & hydrogen atoms in a reaction chamber. The reaction chamber is filled with hydrogen & highly pressurized Nickel powder (from 2 to 20 bars), & heated to a high temperature between 150°C to 500°C.
The aim of the invention is to provide a method allowing the production of energy in an economic, convenient, reliable, replicable, and repetitive manner without generating radiations and radioactive waste products.
Randell Mills Patent 1
Methods for releasing energy by stimulating hydrogen into states below the ground state, called Hydrinos.
Randell Mills Patent 2
Same as above but with the added feature of a heat exchanger.
Francesco Celani
A method for creating thin layers on surfaces of Nickel or its alloys for rapid hydrogen absorption through direct metal/gas contact, thus accelerating LENR reactions.
Rodney T Cox
This patent relates to the direct production of electricity from LENR heat using a thermionic energy conversion system.
